If you are not consuming too much fat then you are also at a lower risk of cancer. When you eat less fat then you have more options to eat vegetables, grains, and fruits.

Whenever you are making a salad, make sure to add beans, especially kidney beans. Whenever you are consuming meat or fish then keep black beans along with it as a side dish from vegetables. Try soup once a week and it should be made of lentil or black bean. Beans can also be beneficial if they are added to sandwiches. Luncheon meats have lower fat in their composition so lean sliced beef, chicken breast or sliced turkey should be consumed. High-fat desserts should be used only on special occasions and they must be served in smaller amounts.

The trend of French fries and other fast foods is also at peak but this should be restricted to some special occasions like parties and gatherings. If you are addicted to popcorns then it is also not good, so try to consume popcorns which are without oil or butter but keep in mind, these would have an unsweetened taste. It is not the truth that there is no variety in food with lower fat. You may have a diet consisting of different eating options like skim milk puddings, hard candy, gum drops, jelly beans, ginger snaps, vanilla wafers, and fig bars.

Cheese is a commonly used product but it is full of fat. You have options to take low-fat cheese in the form of cottage cheese. Otherwise, you can add little cheese to the sandwich and in any other product, you are consuming in a routine. Dairy products are a necessary part of life and one cannot get rid of it, but these also have a higher content of fat. So skimmed milk or dairy products with lower fat like reduced-fat sour-cream should be used. High-fat toppings must not be excessively or regularly used, instead you may have options like 1 tablespoon of a salad dressing, a table spoon of sour cream, and a table spoon of butter is a better option. Lower fat toppings are also tasty and easy to be part of diets like mustard, nonfat margarine; apple butter, fruit spread, and jam can be used.
