Karen Robinson, MSN, RN, ACNP-BC

Karen has been practicing in the emergency department for 29 years and is currently the Lead Advance Practice Provider for an emergency department in Northwest Houston.

She currently holds an adjunct professor position with Texas Woman’s University and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, instructing and precepting in the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.

Karen earned a BS degree and an MS degree in Nursing as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She currently holds a certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

She also speaks at national conferences regarding emergency services.
